ATOTO 9’ S8MS
We partnered with Atoto Direct to create a lively collab video showcasing one of their flagship multimedia units for cars and vans. Here’s how we brought it to life:
Concept & Brief
Began with a short creative brief: highlight seamless installation, intuitive interface, connectivity (Apple CarPlay/Android Auto), navigation, and superior audio. Tone: helpful, quirky, and travel-ready.
Agreed on a 90–120 second hero video for a youtube video.
Production
Filmed over one or two days: morning interior install and UI walkthrough, afternoon lifestyle scenes and test drive. Kept the schedule tight to capture golden-hour driving shots.
Installation sequence: close-ups of wiring harness, plugging the unit into the vehicle loom, screwing brackets, and snapping trim back into place. Used quick cuts and full length talking scenes for explanation.
recorded crystal-clear footage of the touchscreen responding to taps, navigation route setup, Bluetooth pairing, and audio EQ adjustments.
Lifestyle content: natural, unscripted moments of the two of us planning a weekend route, selecting playlists, and celebrating the finished install with coffee — reinforcing the travel lifestyle.
Post-production
Edited a tight, upbeat hero video with a playful rhythm: quick installation montage, feature highlights with subtle motion graphics, and a mini-story of the van trip launch.
Colour graded to warm, travel-ready tones; cleaned UI captures for clarity; and stabilised all moving shots.
Added on-screen captions and simple icons to call out technical specs (screen size, compatibility, DSP audio) without overcrowding the frame.
Mixed audio to ensure navigation prompts, music, and voiceover remained distinct. Added a quirky, upbeat music bed that matched Dan & Jessie’s tone.
Created shorter cutdowns for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, tailoring opening frames and captions for each platform.
Collaboration & Approvals
Shared rough cuts with Atoto Direct for technical verification and brand compliance. Incorporated feedback on product naming and a few on-screen spec callouts.
Final sign-off included export settings tailored for each platform, plus a product-focused 4K file for Atoto’s website and a 1080p social master for us.
Deliverables
10-15 minute or more installation video.
Outcome
The video positioned Atoto’s unit as the go-to multimedia upgrade for both everyday drivers and van-lifers, showing it’s easy to install and packed with travel-ready features. It felt authentic, informative and delightfully Dan & Jessie — equal parts practical tutorial and wanderlust nudge
